Just checked out the nominees for this year’s Academy Awards. For the first time ever, ten films have been nominated for best picture. They are:
'Avatar'
'The Blind Side'
'District 9'
'An Education'
'The Hurt Locker'
'Inglourious Basterds'
'Precious'
'A Serious Man'
'Up'
'Up in the Air'
I am hoping ‘Up in the Air’ wins the award as it was my most enjoyed film of 2009. However, I have a feeling James Cameron and his streak of mediocre films winning accolades will continue at the Oscars.
Such shame.
