Luis Suarez came off the bench today to seal a 2-0 victory for Liverpool against Stoke City. It took all of 15 minutes for Suarez to get on the score sheet, showing the Kop what an intelligent player he is. His initial touches were a bit rusty however, and there were a few shots that he scuffed. But that is completely understandable considering the fact that today was his first competitive game since November 2010 and he has yet to train with his new team. I loved how he was always looking to move off the ball, trying little flicks here and there. He also wasn’t hesitant to track back and picking up the ball deep. I have been on a constant buzz since the game ended and I am absolutely relishing the magical performances from our new number 7 that are yet to come.
