The trailer is very cliched but the film itself looks well made. Christian Bale has once again completely transformed himself and there have been a lot of talk that this film might finally get him an Oscar nomination. Mark Wahlberg and Amy Adams look to have put in good performances as well.
Directed by David O’ Russell (Three Kings, I Heart Huckabees), The Fighter is based on true events and arrives in theatres on December 10, 2010.
